Will a MkI/II headliner and frame fit in a MkIII+ shell.
I know the MkI and II use two frames and the MkIII+ bows, but without having two roofs in front of me to compare...not sure if it will work.
Any experience trying this?
Thanks

Re: Headliner
I'm fairly sure I used a MK1 / MK2 headliner on a later shell.
The roof section is still on the scrapheap so I'll check for you tomorrow.

Re: Headliner
I think it will work, but You have to remove the part the holds the roof light.
I use a two part headliner from an Innocenti Mini in my later shell.

Re: Headliner
Thanks for the info so far.
I can make do without the interior light.
I have a MkIV with a really crappy headliner....and I have a MkII rof with nice headliner and a 67 S headliner not being used.
Are they typically installed....rear piece first?
Thanks

Re: Headliner
Just to confirm, yes, I did have an early headlining in a later car.
As mentioned above you will have to slice off the bracket for the light.
It's a while since I fitted one , but I think it's the rear section in first.
