Headlamp mounts

Post by Gray »

Should these holes on the wing for mounting the headlamps be square to take the spire nuts? or is there a round version available of the spire nut? If not what size square are they? Cheers

if your wings have the square holes you can use the van petrol tank mounts 21A305, these also fit the wiper motor mounts in mk3's and the regulator box holes.
please note, these are my own, individual sales, nothing whatsoever to do with my employer, minispares

There are also some very small Black ones, fitted to the slam panel of a GT/Clubman -
to hold the front grill, and the same little "thingie" sits in the innerwing to hold the fusebox.

Cheers Guys, I have seen the Bresco ones in the past hence the question square or not!!! only just looked into this or I would of filed mine square before the paint, not so bad as the whole area is out of site so a little touch up would not be the end of the world.

bresco have a great pricing method as well.

everything (in the clip range) is 7.95 a bag, the only difference is how many items are in a bag

my bus is held together with bresco clips! 8-)

They look the "bizz" 8-) but check the original BL ones, becourse they are MUCH more flush once sitting on the hole.
You can also just file these more flat, so they look like the original.
Someday the Concour judges, will probably take off the headlight to check  he he
