Converting from alternator to dynamo

Post by abri »

I've seen the converstion done the other way around...a long time ago.

So I was wondering if someone could describe the process to me. I've got a control box and a dynamo ready to fit. Would any important wires have been removed from the loom during the conversion to alternator, or is it simply a matter of re-routing some wires?

If anyone has done this recently, a more or less step by step description would be greatly appreciated!

surely (and in the words of a haynes manual  ) refitment is the reversal of removemant!

the only problem would be if a alty loom was fitted - if the dynamo loom is there it would be just a case of refitting the control box
please note, these are my own, individual sales, nothing whatsoever to do with my employer, minispares
