Corner Bar Holes

I need to drill holes for corner bars on the bumper ( not the uprights )

Anyone done this and what technique was used? As it's such a steep angle, I'm wondering if one has to drill at 90 degrees and then oval it out.

yes, you do have to have an oval shape. I did it with a burr in a dremel.

How did you go about finding the correct position, and did you drill a hole at a 90 degree firest?
