Help Identify an Elf/Hornet engine

Gents,

I have been offered an Elf/Hornet engine with the code 9WR-U-H29750, Can anyone advise what this should be? I know its a 998.

Also any estimation on the value of a complete engine and box? It appears to turn over ok etc but will obvioulsy need a good inspection and possible rebuild?

9WR - Wolseley Hornet & Riley Elf Mk2, pre closed circuit breathing, high compression.

As to value, its really just a 998 core unit. I would say £150.
