Tried to do that back in the 70's and it didn't work the walls are too thin on the liner, but maybe with new technology and prayer it's possible...........

I've seen a block sleeved for 75mm
Pistons, so it should be doable for 73,5. I recall they bored one cylinder then fit sleeve..then move to next one, instead of boring all cylinders and fit sleeves after. Cheers, Luis

they were honda pistons, not sure about model, used with 91mm long stroke crank for +1600cc.Thanks lads, looks promising then. What pistons were they Luis ?
These exotic builds were common here on the Slalom/Autotest racers.

not sure if this is a build spec for a road car... seen a few failing in action.That's very interesting. Not heard of that one. is it reliable for consistent and long use though ?
