FJ 1071 block

Hello when would the FJ1071 block have been used. Is it only really early cars or was it used into 64 thanks

They made over 1300 of them, I think they were still fitting them in Jan \ Feb 64

What was the highest FJ block number??? The one I have is C2905...caps have the same number as the block.

From the one,S I have seen the casting changed between C1356 and C1508.

my car delivered 1 st week of January 64 with S block iirc.
