Does anyone know when the vacuum advance on lucas distributer changed from the screw on type to the plastic push on style.

I don't have a changeover date, but my August 1968 1300 have a screw on one with a steel pipe.

My Dec 68 built MK 2 998 has a screw on steel tube as well.

thanks, that confirms for me to fit the screw type to my may 68 built mk2 cooper.
