Hi gang,
On Sunday I took part in a Mini run to Castle Coombe via Wooton Bassett organised by one of the local clubs to raise money for Help for Heroes. There was a great turn out of 150+ cars and here are a few that caught my eye:
Waiting for the off at the Agricultural College - it took a while to get out! :
Me parked up at Coombe next to a friends Mighty Mini racer and his Dad's retro'd Cooper:
Lovely Mk1 S:
Interesting retro colour scheme on this 'modern':
Nice 1275GT:
Gorgeous Mk2 Cooper with some period trimmings:
Then, for me, easily the car of the day - a fantastic Radford Morris Cooper Mk2 which had every concievable extra inside and out - it was gorgeous! Chatted to the owners and gave them a nod towards this website which I'm sure they would find interesting, hopefully they may make an appearance and give us some more details:
Cheers,
Chris

Looks like a superb turnout for an exceptionally good cause!
Regardless of what people think of the rights or definite wrongs of our Governments ill judged sorties into the middle east, the least we can all do is support those members of our armed forces who were sent over there to do a job to the best of their ability & came home in a less complete condition that when they left.
Please PM me as to how I can send a small donation to your fund raising efforts.
