Sound insulation pads
These came out of my 1963 car about fours ago. Can't remember where they came from nor can I find them in the parts manual.
Any ideas? They look like they'd fit into the corners of the rear parcel shelf.

They have the shape to fit onto the rear inner wheel arch (left and right of the rear seat base)

Yup, They go over the rear wheel arches. The bit insider the car above the rear bins & outboard of the rear seat.
