Re: cant rail?
Gonna bump this a bit, as I bought a NOS 24A1431 inner B pillar from our man in Barcelona who's mentioned in this thread nearly a fortnight ago via eBay and have yet to hear any word or sign of said pillar arriving. Not quite panicking (well, not yet) but did anybody else who purchased from him have any issues, or is it par for the course?

Re: cant rail?
I placed an order for a rear subframe , front scuttle panel ,hydro parts and badges etc . All arrived ok , but had a few issues with him
Only sent one of the hydro retainers , so still wanting for that to arrive and the badges are copy ones and was told all Genuine !!
Not very good service to be honest and takes ages to answer emails
Hope you get it sorted

Me too bud. Good job that's there's no immediate rush on my part, and that I'm very patient…

Re: cant rail?
I bought several panels off him ,he's really slow to answer anything about postage, but replied almost Instantly when I pointed out he'd got the price too cheap at 235 euro for a complete mk1 side frame! .he altered the price to 535 euro but left the wrong discriptiion!
It took 2 weeks for him to finally chuck all my panels in 1 big box and post it .but he did then refund 150 euro postage discount
All the panels arrived ok a week later .
I think those badges are late production, same as you could still get in the late 90s rover style. Not j fray but still genuine I guess
All in all I think the seller is just lazy not dishonest ,so Buy if you can wait but don't expect to chat with him

Re: cant rail?
Thanks for the comments folks, it sort of put my mind at rest.
Had a notification on me phone earlier to say that the pillar's finally been posted, so it's a start I suppose. Hope finding a NOS 24A1430 pillar isn't going to be as tortuous…

I have here what I think could be an inner B pillar.

I noticed that he did have the RH ones, but sold them before Xmas. Typical!

Re: cant rail?
It is a drivers side one I have - it's slightly different at the top though and the captive nut set up for the seat belt is different.mini5967 wrote:I noticed that he did have the RH ones, but sold them before Xmas. Typical!
It is old stock but hasn't fared that well in storage - a bit rusty at the top

If you are interested, I'll blast it at work on Monday to assess true condition and put some pics up.

Re: cant rail?
Provisionally interested - could you stick a picture of it as it is up sometime tomorrow? Take it that it's a post '64 pillar with the lower seat belt hole.It is a drivers side one I have - it's slightly different at the top though and the captive nut set up for the seat belt is different.

Re: cant rail?
Hi Andrew - sorry for the delay in replying. Gave it some thought about your pillar, studied the photos carefully, and although the condition's OK, I think I'll pass on it, and wait for a mirror image of the one I've got on order (it was the top arrangement that was ultimately the deal breaker). Many thanks for offering anyway - hopefully if anybody else has seen the pillar and wants to make you an offer, then they can do.

Re: cant rail?
Thanks Andrew.
Well Monday morning arrived, and there was a package waiting for me; had our man in Catalonia sent the right panel?
Course he had, thank goodness.
