When I used to strip Minis down for repairs they had 2 or 3 felt pads between the uppermost webs of the subframe and the boot floor. Presumably to stop drumming (and ensure that they stayed sufficiently damp to ensure they rusted at the comntractual BMC rates )
I have a set of rubber pads I removed from a much later Mini. Is there any sense in including these? (as opposed to felt) Would it make no difference or would I be better to leave them out altogether?
Thanks. Mark
