Happy New Year all,
One thing I want to do this year is make a real effort to get out to as many meets as possible... In spite of my best intentions I always seem to miss the ones I've been meaning to visit for years.
With this in mind I've taken it upon myself start a thread for 2011 events - which i hope will provide some inspiration and maybe facilitate us meeting each other a bit more. So please add any events you like the look of / are planning to attend and hopefully the list will grow and a few faces will be put to names along the way!
Here's a few of the obvious and well known ones - but I reckon the best thing would be to get small / local / little known events on here too as well as non UK events:
Mini centric events:
Bingley hall: 30th January
Stanford hall
Mini in to park: 14th August
Mini Cooper day at Beaulieu
Mini World Action Day - Castle Combe: 24th Spetember
Beaulieu Cooper register rally: 12th JuneGoodwood Revival: 16th - 18th September
General petrol head events:
Goodwood Festival of Speed: 30 June - 3 July
Goodwood Revival: 16th - 18th September
Cholmondeley Pageant of Power: 15th, 16th & 17th of July
Donnington Historic festival: 30th April - 2nd May
Silverstone classic: 22nd - 24th July
Beaulieu Auto jumble: 10th &11th September
The restoration show at Stoneleigh
UK motorsport events:
British Grand Prix: 8th - 10th July
Wales Rally GB: 11th - 14th November
events outside the UK:
Retromobile, Paris: 2th - 6th February
Spa Summer Classic: 10th, 11th &12th June
What do you reckon?

Re: 2011 events diary
You may want to add the following
events outside the UK:
Spa 6 Hours 22nd-25th Sept (Masters, U2TC and 6 Hour Race will all have Mini's in action)
6 rounds of the French Mini Cooper Challenge, inlcuding Pau, Dijon and Le Mans (Bugatti Circuit) if my memory serves me correctly.

Cheers guys,
yeah I agree Al. The Revival is much better! I thought I'd added it!
Any other suggestions anyone?
