Mk1 outer hinge panel to step panel attachment
I wasn't the one that disassembled my car and I can't seem to find a good picture of how the lower end of the hinge panel attaches to the step panel. Are they butted together and welded at the seam or overlapped and spot welded?

On a UK built Mk 1 & 2 it was one complete side panel.

Thanks for the help. I didn't realize the estates and saloons differed - its a Traveller so overlap and spotweld it is!
