Morning all,
I was wandering if this mirror glass is missing a frame, or is it how they came in 1963 ?
And the next question is can I get it put right or replaced.
Thanks Macker.

Re: Rear view mirror
That's how they are meant to be, i.e. no frame.
You see spare glass on ebay occasionally, but with 50 y/o mirrors they do diminish.

Re: Rear view mirror
It would be good to find someone who could re-silver these and then black crackle the back. I have several stalks and brackets already restored but my mirrors are poor, though not as bad as Macker's.
Suggestions ?

They are plenty of mirror resilvering companies on the web. Search resilvering services.
