Structural Work: Alignment Jig?

Post by Hipwell »

When completing major overhaul of chassis, floor works etc, whats the common practice for keeping it all straight?

I see the correct specs on the technical board but what are the basic practices to maintain this?

It depends on the amount of welding required , but its usual practise to tac weld box section steel across the sills and door apertures , check out some of the threads in our cars to get some ideas
When doing the sills , always refit the doors to check they still fit before final welding
