Hi guys,
I'm thinking about puting a minispares quick rack into the mk1 S, as my std rack is worn out.

Is this possible? Will I need to use Mk2-onwards steering arms too?

Thanks

Re: MS Quick rack into Mk1?
I use a Mk II rack in my Mk I - with MkII steering arms.
I have a friend who also fitted a MkII rack but didn't bother to change his (MkI) arms and happily drove his car for years like that.
AIUI the mismatch impacts on Akerman angles at full lock (but don't quote me) so maybe you don't care what happens at parking speeds???
Cheers, Ian

Cheers guys,
I think the mk2 arms allow more threads of the tie rods into the tie rod ends too, not a bad thing.
