how to make an expensive paperweight

Post by Richspec »

take one quaife lsd, add a sc lsd crownwheel from minispares, fail to realise that the hole in the middle isn't 'quite' big enough, drop wheel over diff, tighten crownwheel bolts evenly all round, 20 lbft, 40, 50 and then CRACK!!! :o
Exclaim WTF! (to the deserted garage), have a look, see nothing wrong, have another go and CRACK!
Swear quite a bit. strip it all apart and have a look.
Congratulations  You've cracked the crownwheel in two places

look on minispares website.

Always Check when fitting and LSD for clearance on the housing, as local modifications may be necessary.

bugger

arrrhhh! we used to put a warning sticker in the old semi helical ones as so many people broke them,

its only quaiffes and sailsburys that are an issues as the cw are sized for the minispares plate diffs
should you wish, you can contact me on rich@minispares.com
