Can anyone advise which oil pump would be best for my engine build?
I am building a torquey 1310 based around a 1300GT engine with ported head and 256 cam
Minispares have a variety of pumps on offer but some are out of stock. I am not sure the Evo pump is necessary on my level of tune or intended use.
I just need a reliable robust pump which is going to deliver a reasonably high flow I guess?
Cheers
Jon

Re: which oil pump
I only use the EVO pump now. But I guess any steel backed pump will be fine for your application.
The way I look at it is that £100 is a small price to pay to know that you have the best oil pump you can get fitted in your engine.

No they aren't, but they are machined to much better tolerances than any others currently on the market.

Hello
I fitted an EVO on my race engine,
Perfect! very good quality, and nice machining
Work perfectly for about 3000 km
