Hi ,
im about to rebuild my 4syncro gearbox.
I seem to remember that a 3syncro 1st/2nd selector can be modifird to fit (which i have a couple of nos) and are stronger. Any ideas welcome.
Thanks

Re: .1st gear selector fork mod
you can weld / braze them up and make them nice and chunky, but the bending / breaking issue is only a problem if your driving them really hard - probably far harder than 99.9% of people will ever use them

I haven't done it, but I do believe that a 3 synchro fork will fit and work OK in a 4 syncho box without modification.
