Dynamo issues

Post by coopertim »

Afternoon all. I'm having a few issues at the moment with DPU's ignition system. Would I be able to replace the 850 dynamo with the spare 1275 unit I have? Secondly, on the voltage regulator, is the middle back spade connector empty or does it have the smaller yellow wire attached? I don't want it to have a melt down or worse!

Cheers

The 850 & 1275 Dynamos are the same. Not sure re wiring as I don't have a reference to hand at work.

Full wiring diagram here.

Really?
How do standard mk1 850 and other Lucas C40 applications differ?
