I currently have some no name LCB and a twin box 1.75 dia Maniflow system. Its been suggested my car is a bit strangled. If I had a 2 inch set up do you reckon I would lose much mid range, and would there be much of a noise penalty?
The pulse effect out of the tailpipe now is enormous at idle along with bits of the packing coming out. I'd obviously be looking to change the manifold at the same time. Have to do a hunt for more bits to sell....... credit card is in a secret location somewhere since Blyton!

Re: Exhaust sizes
Jeff,
I have a 1293 Cooper S with the 3 pipe into 1 exhaust manifold (Maniflow) and 2-inch exhaust system and it works superb. It meets MOT noise levels and I think it has a good edge over a LCB 1¾ inch system.

Re: Exhaust sizes
Yes that's what I'd like to know, if there is a measurable or noticeable difference.
