Well, I finally acquired Mk1 mini. This is a 60 mini morris but still figuring out the exact date of built. As you can see in the pix, is fairly complete, retains lots of early features as the crackle mirror, the straight wand and the fleck interior and as far as I'm told, drives very nicely.
The pics shows it at the docks and I expect to arrive to Mexico by the end of the month.
Unfortunately it has the wavy grill but fortunately with the help of Mark, I already have the white morris grille. Unless someone can guide and point me some missing or incorrect parts, from the look at the pics, I can be settle with a pair of black kick plates.
I'm still in doubt regarding the back side cards as they look kind of "pinned". Dont know if i should replace them or leave them like that.
Hope you like it, Nick.

You need to upload the pictures to a server, they will not work directly from your computer.
Try to upload the pictures to imageshack or photobucket or any other and then yes, use the [IMG] tags wrapping their link.

Several months later and now in Mexico, City, I stand before my mini with white rims and with some parts that were missing but now in their place thanx to Mark F. and Nick Rogers.
It looks better than it really is, it could use a respray and the lower part of the doors have the usual rusty spots.
I had to change the waterpump but still overheats so I have to sort out some mechanical issues before I can take it to long trips.
regards
Nick
