Front Seat webbing

Post by coopertim »

Hi all

Im just restoring VFF's front seats and the webbing on the upright part is knackered! Looked on Newtons site and cant find it anywhere! Anybody recently bought some and could tell me where the best supplier is?

Cheers

According to the Somerford site, the C708 would replace the original webbing on early seats... but they keep referring to it as being for the squab which I always thought was the seat base, not back. Nonetheless, the exploded diagrams on the somerford site show C708 being used for the seat back.

If it looks like this it's Pirelli webbing, still widely available from upholsterer's or Amazon etc

Well darn !!!

I wish I had known that a couple of years ago when I last ordered some seat hardware. Thanks for the information.
