Last time I saw "Surf" was at Brands Hatch. He had some shots of me taking a wheel off a Mini, piece by piece.

Stuart took a great set of photos from Blyton, many of them willl be in the next MCR mag . I think he's been very busy of late but said he will post up a link to them when he gets time.

Mr Harber showed me this thread whilst I was dropping my Innocenti back at his shop today.

And yes I have been busy with all sorts of stuff and have not posted many pictures on photobucket for a while. I finally got through editing the Blyton shots the other day and have loaded a couple of monochrome ones, here's a couple to wet your appetites.
The final set will be online on Sunday evening.

Then I'll get on with the Brands shots and Beaulieu stuff.

Was 'SPV' the fiesta yellow car?

If so any chance of a colour pic posted up please to act as inspiration for the car we've just rescued!

....quite a few pics on their facebook pages I don't normally frequent ??!!....strange tho no pics on the MCR Forum pages.. is Blyton the new Beaulieu ?? I think not judged by shear numbers of classic cars.. but none the less it will only get bigger hopefully...tis the quirkiest Mini and variant day out on the circuit .. Beemer free !!!!... foxy52

I for one would never want Blyton to be seen as "the new beaulieu" they are very different events, serving two different purposes, co-existing & complimenting each other. For a start, if Blyton was to attract 1/2 the cars that went to Beaulieu the place would totally grind to a halt.

I spent all morning running round like a silly sod "organising" stuff. I had to make a deliberate decision at lunch time to turn in my Hi Viz & start to enjoy myself. If it did get any bigger I wouldn't be able to do that & it would sort of defeat the object of the day for me at least.

I really hope that no one sees Blyton & Beaulieu in competition, they are not! & never will be.

...as I said Mark.. the new beaulieu ?? I think not... I,m sure you could cope with 1/10 of 50% of those who turn up at the Natl MCR day ?? that would equate to about another 100 cars or less....anyhows twas a nice day out in North lincs....as for Beaulieau I have done 15 or so visits and I like a change of scenery.. foxy52
