Hi All, any idea when/what era the Lucas 700 headlamps were fitted to the Mini? Have several of them and look very in keeping with early sixties but not sure when. Cheers. Mark

Plain Lucas 700 headlights with BPF globes and sidelights? Thats what my '61 Traveller has, they seem to be original. Both of mine are very stone chipped and the reflectors are dull. I sourced a NOS one from Will Grant, but still need another. I have a Lucas-TVS one from India, but it says "Foreign Glass" instead of "Made in England" on the lens.

I binned a pair of these as the reflectors were bubbling from rust. Thought about separating the glass but it all looked too hard. These previously lived on a 68 aus van (still around just cut up for panels)

hi there....speak with a very good friend of mine here in Australia who remanufactures and can also supply new old stock of these...and pretty much anything else Lucas. He also has a British distributor.
