This break in service was caused by a combination of the Blyton Action Day & the Channel 4 programme "For the love of cars" which both directed a lot of internet traffic towards the MK1 Site (not the forum). The MK1 site had previously had a band width allocation (the amount of data that could be transferred in a month) of 24Gb. Sadly on Sunday this was exceeded & as a consequence access to the site was limited. I have now purchased 150Gb of bandwidth per month so this problem should not occur again.

The best thing is that the MK1 site now has 50Gb of disk space available, making it possible for me to host far more info than ever before.

thanks for bearing with me.
