The MK1 forum has bimbled along for years getting between 800 & 1,800 hits a day, that was until Sunday night when the hit counter went mad, and showed 5,500 hits by the close of the night.
To begin with, I thought that there was something wrong, but then I saw that the vast majority of hits were "Downton" related I realised it was because of all the people watching the programme on Channel 4 where Downton got a mention.
It makes you realise just how powerful a tool TV still is.
