the gtm was well matched to simons sprint, we had a good few laps over a couple of sessions circulating as a pair, unfortunately I never had the camera pointing backwards so missed simon spinning off the track!

That's a shame... I was behind him and saw him have his little 'moment' but didn't have my camera rolling. Would love to show him that a few times when he gets cocky!

I don't remember being in reverse at any time on the track, but if you watch the first few seconds closely, you can quite clearly see my Sprint reversing towards Rich

its a 3.4:1, but the tyres are 185/55/13 its probably (ive never worked it out) nearer to a 3.1:1

I just kept it in third and pulled its ears back - 1071s like that sort of thing!

I'm not surprised at the van, someone mentioned some huge horsepower figure to me. I bet there were a few thousand flies coating that roof rack by the end of play!

It's Carls 16v twin cam that's 148 bhp at the fly. Chris's van is just well driven.

Nice video,

reg. the nice dark blue van, i could swear i've seen it the 2011 IMM ( Switzerland ), again very well driven in the slalom. Even gave the driver ( a young friendly chap ) a word on how nice it was. Recall it ran a Maniflow exhaust.

Hi Luis.

Yes me an my brother ( dark blue van owner ) drove over to the the IMM in Switzerland. An I do rememver him going round the autotest bit. He couldnt give it his best as we still had to get the thing home. Yes he does run a maniflow exhaust.
