Heater front panels

Hi everyone, could anyone tell me why one of these heater front panels has holes in at the bottom and the other doesn't??

I'd say because someone attached something to it, trip meter, badge, ect there plenty of holes in my car that don't have anything attached to them any more :lol:

Sounds like the most probable suggestion. I was rather hoping you were going to say it was some rare thing for such and such :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

It is rare, it's probably the only heater panel with those two exact holes in it :lol:
