Does anybody know what it roughly cost to send a 15" steering wheel to Japan via airmail?
Bit of a long shot, but thought I'd ask!

Depending on the weight of the parcel and what value you put on it anywhere between £12 and £25.
I'm always using the price finder on the Royal Mail web site to give quotes when sending stuff overseas.

PS When weighing your item don't forget to allow for the packing material weight as well.

parcel2go.com will compare courier prices. Usually cheaper than Royal Mail. Be aware that Hermes have a policy of not sending ANY car parts, so I think I was lucky to get away with sending what I flogged on eBay recently
