1071 INLET MANIFOLD

Hi I have an inlet manifold part number AEG 179 is this correct for the 1071 cheers Brian.

Yup, it isd.
The manifold is actually the same casting as the late 997 Cooper one, can't remember the number off hand. But this part number has been ground off & the new number stamped in by hand.

Brian, it would be the correct one for a 1071 without closed circuit breathing. As Mark said its an adapted version of the 12A309:
If it would have closed circuit breathing you would need a AEG347 manifold, as this has the take off for the PCV:
If the 179 manifold is undamaged, would you be willing to let it go?
