Thank you for the huge interest shown in the Saturday evening meal & talk. I am sorry to report that we have now had to close the list as the capacity of the venue has now been reached. We can therefore not take any more bookings.
Can those people who have booked a place, please contact me direct to arrange payment or send it via Paypal to
mark@the-forsters.co.uk The confirmed cost of the meal is £7.00 per head. If paying by Paypal, please remember to clearly identify who you are & who you are paying for within the Paypal payment.
Once paid you will "Go on the list" & can collect your tickets from me on the day.
Thanks for all the interest.
(Meal list updated 28.4.14)

Please note the slight change of arrangements.
I will not be e-mailing the tickets for the meal out, these will be available from me on the day.

Hi Mark,
Will we get confirmation of the names that we submitted, or is that all finalised now via your confirmation email of receiving funds?
Didn't want someone to turn up, only to find their name isn't on the list.
Cheers,
Ben

Just to confirm the guest speakers on the panel on Saturday night are Barry Hawkins , who will no doubt be talking about Downton and racing, Jeff Williamson talking about 1960's rallycross , Bill Needham talking twin cams and Coldwell and last but not least Barrie Williams who will just be talking...alot..

Right, change of plans. Was meant to be arriving late as my pal has work during the day, but I may need to convince him to try to get off early........
I assume those not there for food will be able to get in for the speakers?

The food is served in the dining room which seats 60 and the talk is in the 'briefing room' which I am unsure of in terms of seating capacity (will check tomorrow) but I'm sure it'll easily seat 60+ and you'd be OK Al or any other 'stragglers' who aren't 'dining'.

Correct, Anyone is welcome to come in for the speakers, however, it may be (read will be) standing room only.

IMPORTANT UPDATE :
Food will be served in the dining hall from
5.30pm on Saturday. The dining room will close by 7.00 sharp, so don't be too late or you may miss out.
Food choices on the night will be Chicken Curry, Lasagna or Quiche. The choices will diminish as they 'sell out'.
Therefore diners please aim to arrive at Blyton from 4pm onward (slightly earlier than previously advised).

What's the situation on beverages again (both non alco and alco)? I thought I saw a previous thread on this somewhere, but I can't find it.
Cheers
