Ouch! What a mess.
Good find Roald. Photo link didn't work, but more after photos on the 2009 Welsh Marches Mini Epynt Stages, with 8-port carbs bulge,
see bottom of page here, http://www.geoffmayesmedia.com/rally371.html?page=18
and top of page here, http://www.geoffmayesmedia.com/rally371.html?page=19
"40 Dennis Motorsport Brian Dennis Mini ABX 262B 1380" came in 28th position, 1st in class in above event,

BX in the reg number says it was originally registered in Carmarthenshire, South Wales in 1964, if it is its original registration.

Excellent photo find Alex.
Noticed some for Guru here, GTM Coupe on the Epynt Stages event in my last post, car no.10, driven by Jeremy Straker/Adrian May, came 11th overall, 2nd in class. In the middle photos on the page,

Re: ABX 262B
Brian Dennis is still competitive, have competed against him in that car over the Epynt stages in recent years, my driver borrowed the car, 8 port with webbers, when theirs broke down before the start, very nice gent, very quick driver as well! I think you will find that the 'car' is a very well campaigned old stager, so has gone the route of many an old rally car.

I too have competed against and sometimes beat Brian. Hes a great friend and competitor, awesomely fast. Me and PRX316B used to have many a battle with him and Eric Davies over forest and tarmac driving like complete nutters,ha,ha
