Cloth wiring loom identification

I have several wiring looms in my garage. They are cloth covered and in pretty good nick. One is black cloth with a white flash or fleck (fairly bold) on it. Think it came off my Cooper S. Any ideas what Mk1 should have what. Another came out of a 60s car yet this has grey plastic loom tape. Cheers. Mark

As has been suggested read the thread on the MCR forum.
Even John Parnell is currently struggling to reconcile the data on original wiring loom colours so what chance do we mortals stand.
I suspect the loom you think looks white is actually blue & exactly what I'm looking for for my new project
