OK, what about Fiesta Yellow then !!
Seems that every other colour has its own thread so how about one for Fiesta Yellow, the Marmite of Mini colours.

Re: OK, what about Fiesta Yellow then !!
Probably the prettiest color of all, but then I'm partial to pale yellows, having owned several Primrose MGBs and a Primrose E-type.
The only "problem" with Fiesta Yellow is that it only came with blue interior, and they are NLA, correct? I'm not sure why blue interiors are jinxed, but I'm dealing with that same issue on an Iris Blue MGB...the only blue interior kits available are about 10 shades too light.
Below is a pic of my '67 MGB GT, which is still wearing its original paint.

Some great cars being posted up.
I thought about fitting the Minilifes from my long term hibernating Mk2 Cooper, but that's as far as I have got on that one !
The Rosepetals sure look nice

Oh, interesting. Is that a new offering, because I feel as if I've read a number of accounts of people having to search to the ends of the earth for blue interior.KA2S4 wrote:Not at all, Newton Commercial do the blue interior for Fiesta Yellow and Surf Blue cars.Benny wrote:The only "problem" with Fiesta Yellow is that it only came with blue interior, and they are NLA, correct?

Re: OK, what about Fiesta Yellow then !!
Don't think so Benny as I got mine 7 years ago from Newton Commercial.
There's been some problems with the colour of the Powder Blue in the past, which has led people to try to get original trim, and of course, the issue with the brocade not being correctly positioned on the grey.

Re: OK, what about Fiesta Yellow then !!
mine is a 62 but with the plain powder blue seats.
i have also got a set of rose petal for it to roll on. but being basic, its got no corner bars or over riders, no chrome trim on the door and fixed rear glass. etc
i kind of like the plainness about it, i have had it for 6 years as project and it will finally be on the road this year, fingers crossed for the IMM.
before that, it must of been off the road since late 70's early 80"s i would guess
interior wise, i have been very lucky, i got it for a chap that was stripping a 63 FY and had a mint complete interior, all original, even down to the rear self will its plastic over held in place with those popper buttons.
but you do see bits a bobs every now and then, mainly door cars etc.
