Any one know where might stock a clutch release bearing for a coil spring type clutch?
It is quite a bit narrower that the normal pre verto release bearing.
Any assistance gratefully received.

Not sure what you mean, the used coil spring clutch release bearings that I have are exactly the same as the early diaphragm ones (being 22A1156). These have a much wider race surface than the later ones (GRB201). I have one a NOS one of 22A1156 to sell if you are after that one.

Some places list them as a 3W5/8 too. They are about for sure, and still made, just gotta go looking!

Having done a bit of research it would seem that the release bearing GRB201 superseded this type of bearing. Just measured them side by side on two pushrods they are the same 'length', just slightly smaller outer diameter.
They just looked deceptively different
Will get it all together at the weekend hopefully.
thanks.
