hello chaps,

in the 80's I had a 1971 1275 gt as a runabout , and it had some seat covers I would like to try to find .

they were black vinyl with a sort of rough woven houndtooth pattern ,and had very distinct raised sausages either side of the thighs and torso , to convert the stock seat into a sort of bucket seat .

they worked very well , someone told me they were paddy hopkirk seat covers , does anyone have any idea of what they were ?

I had a fair old search on google but no luck .

thanks
regards
robert

Cooper Car Co believe it or not and a firm called Kumfi-Car also made very similar Karobe style rally seat covers. They do pop up on Ebay from time to time and yes a great and cheap way to convert a std Mini seat to something approaching comfortable !
