Re: 1959 Export?
Approx late June to early July 1960 vin (37k) and shell (what's left of it). Everything else isn't even MK1.

Re: 1959 Export?
The seller added a comment to his description after I suggested to him that it may be a mid 60 build date. I didn't even point out to him that my car was 2,600 in front of his at assembly and my heritage certificate states June 1960. I hope the bidders aren't counting on receiving a 59.

I can't figure out why it has a 1995 County Galway registration plate.

I did the same Keith. Doesn't like it does he.
I assume the plate is there to make it look more 'European'?
Very odd I agree.

If you were looking for a "very original" early Mini I don't think this one would be very high on your shopping list

Re: 1959 Export?
I had an eBay email off him asking for details on why I thought it was wrong.
I ran out of characters in my reply!
