Hi Guy´s..

Merry Christmas inhere..

I'm testing my wiring loom on my car..

Hope someone can help with some electrical problems. I can not really get the light in the back to work. When I put power on it works fine in front, also high light, but there comes nothing in the rear ones.
Number plate does not either.. When I put the earth, 3 wires (next to the gas tank) all power is gone at ones, and if it stays on the fuse goes on the charger I use for tesing the loom and parts. ( about 6amp. )
There´s is a weak sum comming from the control box when I put the ignition is in the 1 notch, and the light bulb ignition lights dim, also the bulbs in the rear at the same time.?

Any idea ... I've gone through everything by color wiring diagram

Any idea what I should check???

Hej Rene,

I think you have connected the front & rear loom incorrectly.

Shame you are so far away from me, as I love electrics, but you are welcome to call.

When I put the Moke back together some cementhead (me) managed to confuse the power 'n ground wires on the license plate lamp.
I was using a fused jumper between battery earth and an earth point on the body so no harm done. (except my pride and I really don't have much of that)

Edited to add the license plate lamp part..... didn't make any sense otherwise.
Happy to hear you got your problem sorted.

Problem fixed..... :D .

New painted car + Earth on the wireloom = may be a problem sometimes.. :?, Also with a little fail on the new loom.
