Brass door hinges

Hi all,
Just picked up a pair of brass door hinges. I believe they are LH side. how long into production did brass hinges survive?
they have these numbers in the castings: 6821 qa7 / qa8, 6819 qa3 / qa4.

My march 61 Morris has them fitted.
Not sure when they were superseded by the steel hinges though. :roll:

My November 61 built austin seven has brass hinges.
