1967 Mk 1 Cooper NWP88E

Well folks, I have found some time to upload some pics to the site this evening. This is a car I bought locally 12 months ago. It was absolutely knackered. The shell was sandblasted to reveal the true extent of the horrors! Look at that inner wing. I think somebody must have got a welder for Christmas...
I am hoping to complete next year as I have pretty well all the components and a lot of itmes have been prepped and painted already.
Fred Walters at Nippycars provided one of his masterpieces in the way of a complete floor. I cant recommend the man highly enough. The front end is being fitted by my painter, Will at Fulford Body repairs and it should be in paint by Spring. Tartan red with a black top is what it started life as and that is how it will end up (although I am so tempted to Surf Blue it)
Hope you like it. Will update the thread as I make any decent progress.
I have a couple of other cars on the go but if I add links to that I will never get anything done...This took me ages. There must be a simpler way.

I hope the link to Photobucket works.
