Is anyone here, who has fitted a Vortz air box for twin HS4s in a Mini with the steering on the left side ?

I tried to fit mine, but it touches the master brake cylinder.

Maybe I can get some infos to solve this problem.

If not, I will have to sell the box.

In some Europeans LHD countries, most of MKII minis were fitted with a "special" brake master cylinder :

They were 5/8 bore and flat, instead of the round one. It can probably help you.

It was intended to be fitted on early Jags MKII -- > http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rare-Original ... 0689369048

You might get away with just rotating the reservoir on the cylinder. They are only soldered on so its easy enough to heat them up and rotate them.

Thanks for the answers, but the box is built that there is no space for a cylinder on the left side anyway.
The only way for my would be to fit a later (88on) type of brake servo.
But this is not the way I want to go.

why not using some parts of the late linkage to activate std master fitted on right hand side?
