Oil hole in Forged rockers

Hi,
Got my large boxes of engine components from minispares today one of the parts being some new 1.5 forged rockers.
I noticed there is no oil hole on them like my original s rockers. (have stolen a picture that shows this, as my old rockers are outside, and I dint take a photo earlier)
Was this hole designed to throw oil onto the top of the valve? Has it been deemed this hole is un-needed or should I have it? If I should I can machine the hole into my rockers easily while everything is still apart.
