Folks,
Perhaps going to fit inertia reel belts to the front of a MK1. Does the reel just bolt through the rear bin(with suitable reinforcing plates)and the belt run through the ashtray hole ?

When I fitted inertia reel belts to a MK1 some years ago, I fitted the reel to the floor just in front of the bins, having removed a few bins in my time & would not trust these as a seat belt mount myself.
