I saw a brief discussion on this in the 'wanted' forum, but I was wondering what the general consensus was on these?
Also, how heavy are they? Some people mentioned that they were very heavy, but is it to the point where it starts to really restrict/degrade performance?

Not much in it between a good steel sumpguard (like a paddy hopkirk one) and the alloy tech del type

the mag tech del type will probably be half the weight of a steel guard
