Where can I get....????

.....the 4 tower bolts for a Hydro front subframe. I cant seem to find mine and cant bring myself to pay £4-95 each from one of the Mini specialists. Cheers. Mark. The size would do if anybody knows.

If your not after originality, use some long head studs, topped off with some 3/8" UNC Nuts.
The thread in the subframe is 3/8" UNF.

These can be drilled and tapped 3/8unf though as I've just done that.
However, shortening head studs is not easy at all. They're bloody hard, so you'll need a lathe.
I'd buy the Swiftune ones, no hassle.

Hi Tim. Well erm i kept the roof.LOL. Basically it had a full floor including boot map pockets and oe board courtesy of the very talented Fred Walters AKA Nippycars. Currently having full front inc inner wings. This should be sorted by christmas. Wil post some pictures in next few weeks in projects section. Sorry but subframe sold to a forum member as I swapped to hydro. Whats happening with VFF? Cheers. Mark

Hiya Mark
VFF is currently waiting for a full floor to go in and then it will be treated to a couple of wings, inner / outer A panels and localised repairs to the original front panel. Iv'e sourced some front seat covers from a member on here which are original and in lovely condition. Hoping to put the centre exit exhaust on and strike the old girl up by christmas!
Looking forward to seeing whats left of EBJ!!

I have a set of the original wet ones with the plates if you still need them postage might kill it though....
