Know the feeling living in north east Scotland everything is south.. Even get the privilege of paying more for postage...and we get more salt on the roads....and salty air... The joys.....good luck with the project... Get in amongst that under seal and see what you got...

Try living in Australia. My brother-in-law just bought this new project, a 1969 Mini K 1100.

Hi Tim, I was chatting to someone else about Ks the other day. Do they all have the S type brace? Your brother's also looks like it has the folded edge on the lower panel that accommodates the oil cooler....

Yes, I think they all had the diagonal brace, I'm not sure about the folded edge though. Its going to be some time before this one gets here and I can have a look.

I get the impression that they were standardising across the models a lot more by then. A lot of Mini Ks were turned into Cooper Ss, I think they made good donors because there were relatively few body changes required.
