What's this stamped on my engine block??

Gents,
I'm freshening my 1275 S (that's now in the U.S., sorry...) and I believe this motor was worked on in the U.K. in either the late 1970's or early 1980's. There are numbers stamped on the main bearing caps and the outside of the block.

A couple of the stampings don't have the decimal point, just a gap between the 575 and the 8...
Any theories? Might it have been a particular machine shop or known establishment? I'm not theorizing it was done by someone famous, more just my curiosity
