Hello again

Post by ChrisM »

I have not been here much for a while. I'm back now, err so I had better get on with that car then. Apologies in advance for the rake of questions in the techical section. I rather rashly bought an S project in my 20s without the space, funds or know how to restore it. My Mini has been moved several times and the enthusiasm has come and gone repeatedly. But I have now got the shell ready to paint. I dismantled this little car over 20 years ago, so it is going to be a bit "What's this? Where does this go? What's missing"? I didn't do any where near enough taking of notes or pictures. Some parts seem to have been breeding over the years, some have simply vanished! Hopefully you guys here will be able to help.

Cheers - Chris.

Sounds brill - stick some photos on here.
(Wish I'd bought an S 20 years ago, will never be able to afford one now!, just content myself with the 850!)

sounds like you did the right thing 8-)
many projects get sold on, when the owners lost interest.

Plenty of advice & knowledge to get inhere, so get "cracking"
